Testing Times: How to pass in exams
INTRO:
Well here exams are the one which most of the students worry about simply! Not anything else. So just chill. Do you know how to pass? No I’m not going to give you completely serious lectures but will give a humorous as well with simple explanation (if you think it’s not, feel free to say so by commenting).
1. Stay tension free. Don’t study almost anything till the last moment:
*WTH! How are we supposed to pass then?*
You will. That’s my favorite method. And believe me I always got good marks.
Somebody had once said, and rightly, a person performs better under pressure. You see you won’t forget what you had learnt few days back. Will you? Hey! Also have positive approach with confidence that you can do it.
But I used to study some subjects; mostly Languages & Maths; at literally last moment. That is when only 1 week or….. Just a day before the paper!! And I’m not kidding. They were easiest subjects for me. And yes in spite of that I used to got almost full marks in Maths on some occasions. Geography & History were also favorite subjects but not after 7th Std. I used to start with other subjects at least 2 weeks in advance. THIS IS THE BEST METHOD, trust me… or don’t trust me.
2. Study: *Are you serious?* , Somebody just asked.
NO! I’m not getting serious.
There are students who start studying as soon as their academic year gets over or when school/college reopens. DON’T DO IT. Enjoy yourself and with others.
Now what I meant by study was not text-books (and those books which you borrow from old students mostly on insistence of parents). Try to study something different altogether, something which has got nothing to do with “studies”. That will help you later, I promise. Or else YOU CAN SUE ME.
So if you have not studied anything what your teacher had told you to, your “real studies” will come to your rescue. That’s because you can learn so many things they will be answer not only to your questions in life but ‘exams’ too!
3. Fluke: Just Fluke It because Nothing Is Impossible.
When nothing is on your mind and you still want to attempt then this method may do wonders. However not recommended if it’s for exams where negative marking rule is applicable. The way to approach it is a bit complicated and risky.
If it’s for MCQ (Multiple Choice Question) then you can either tick mark your favorite alphabet/numerical given, if any or like one of my friend tick just one option for all questions! He says at least one will be correct if not all. And hey sometimes ½ or 1 mark (or more) matters a lot. So you can use it.
Here if there is option called ‘None of the above’ or ‘All of the above’ then tick mark it. That’s my style. I believe they exist for some reasons in this world. Or else why would they give it?!
4. Cheating: If you want to pass at “any cost”.
Now there are many methods of doing so. Will tell you only few of them which I have come across.
PS: – If anything goes wrong then I shall not be held responsible. Also WordPress as wells as I don’t encourage it. This “information” is just “for your knowledge”.
1) Right & Left Hand Rule (RLHR) – You may have studied about Right Hand Rule or Left Hand Rule or Thumb rule or whatnot. Here you can do some magic with your hands. Give your ‘Happy To Help’ pug err… pal hints of which question you want answer to.
NOTE: - What’s very important here is timing. And you should inform him/her in advance before answering your paper. Then when you want help get their attention towards you. After that show them the magic.
NOW when you do this your pal’s eyes should be on your hands to understand the magic trick. While yours must be looking at Hitler!
This method is also known as ‘silent assassination’, in honor of Hitler. \m/
2) Write on your body- C’mon. There are many uses of your body. Don’t let it go waste. It’s THE MOST safest place!! You can scribble all that you want. And no one is likely to come and check.
3) Passing the parcel- Pass the answer sheet. And for that you need to have an extra one. That you can get from the supervisor. Or you can ask for one sheet and hide it and use it another day, as per your “needs”.
4) Big mouth- Another place where your big mouth can really become a big mouth.
Ask others… They will most probably tell you the answer.
5) Chits- I have only heard my friends say this. They say you can print full text-book in small font on a thumb size book. LOL
